Sowoni was part of a large-scale rescue from a dog meat farm this summer. My family has quarantined and fostered 3 dogs from that rescue, and they are ready now for new homes. We are willing to work with foreign rescues to send them abroad, and have a large car so we can transport them to anywhere in Korea (including to the airport) ourselves.

Our vet estimates that Sowoni is 4-5 years old, but we have no way to know exactly. He and all our other dogs are heartworm free. She walks well on a leash, and even though an escape artist she never goes too far from home and is easy to catch. Sowoni tends to boss around Parami if allowed to, and is much more playful and active than he is. I think that she is much more bonded to him than he is to her, so if separated she might have a hard time if not placed with another dog. Parami once escaped not long after we started fostering them, and she would howl night and day until he found his way back (about 48 hours later).

Our home is too small to keep our animals inside, but we are taking the best care of them outside as we can. They'll walk well on a leash, but both have a high prey drive and will pull hard if an animal crosses our path. I would not trust them unsupervised with any smaller animals, other than other dogs. She will regularly bark at our own cats (kept away from the dogs by a very sturdy wire enclosure), and she has killed one of our chickens when they strayed too close.
