Meet Sangchu! We rescued Sangchu from a breeder when he was just a baby, around 3 years ago. The man that owned him was breeding rabbits near our home. After neglecting to feed the mother rabbit and her babies for several days, I began feeding them. When the man showed up he allowed me to take one of the babies before the mother and the babies disappeared the next day. It was a rash decision, but I couldn't bear letting him go to wherever the other rabbits ended up.

Here we are 3 years later, and we never adopted him out. We just always had the extra space and the capacity to keep him around with us! However, life circumstances have changed and we need to find a good permanent home for him. We will no longer have the separate space for him and my husband is allergic to him (I'm allergic to his hay, but I just deal with it). He's a very independent bunny, but loves a good head scratch and laying next to you (especially if you are eating). Sangchu has always had a lot of room to himself - usually an entire terrace area so he is accustomed to a lot of room to run and play. He is litter-box trained and has been neutered. He takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you - he is very sweet.

Since he's a free-roaming rabbit he doesn't have a cage - we've always built him large enclosures from scratch, but all of his supplies will come with him (litter box, bowls, carrier, bed, etc). Asking small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a proper home.
